At Annapolis Electric Boat Rentals, we’re all about supporting local businesses. After all, we ARE a local business. That is why we were so excited to approach Monica, owner of Bread & Butter Kitchen (just a stone throw away from our dock) about a potential local partnership! If you live in Annapolis, you’re familiar with Bread and Butter Kitchen – the dockside cafe has 5 stars on Facebook & Yelp and they’re a favorite among both locals and tourists. In fact, Greg, owner of Annapolis Electric Boat Rentals calls the restaurant his “second home”!
Bread and Butter Kitchen is the creation of Monica Alvarado who, after taking a brief sabbatical from the corporate world knew that she needed to pursue her passion of creating delicious foods from fresh, local ingredients. Monica officially left her career in the technology industry in 2016 and started Bread and Butter Kitchen, just a few months after Greg and Sherry took over operation of Annapolis Electric Boat Rentals!
Since then, Monica has been working closely with local farmers and vendors to source only the best ingredients available. She and her amazing team serve up great food 7 days a week at the café and they’re all excited to offer fresh, delicious fare to Annapolis Electric Boat Rental’s customers. The partnership will include providing Crew Lunches (which feature Sandwiches, Chips and Cookies), Snack Plates to hold you and your loved ones over during your boat ride, and an advanced catering option for special events like bachelorette parties and birthday parties.
The weather is finally getting nicer in Annapolis Maryland, and there is no better way to enjoy it than with a sunset boat ride in one of our eco-friendly electric boat rentals and some delicious, local food. Thanks to our new partners, Bread and Butter Kitchen, our visitors will never go hungry while cruising Annapolis’ beautiful waterways. Contact us today at (443) 433-2129 to make your reservation!
