Husband and wife team are excited to provide an eco-friendly way to tour Annapolis by water

Annapolis, MD, March 20, 2017– Annapolis Electric Boat Rentals announced today that they are excited to start the new rental season with their eco-friendly electric boats. The newly formed company will offer three electric boats for 1 to 4-hour rentals. Electric boats run on several rechargeable batteries which prevents the vessel from producing any engine noise and zero exhaust pollution. Each boat is equipped with a full canopy and enclosable window system to protect guests from weather conditions. The boats allow for personal music selections with hook-ups for most personal music devices. All boats have a bathroom for relief during longer rentals. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks to take full advantage of their time on the water.

We are excited to provide this unique and exciting way to spend time on our local waterways”, stated co-owner Greg Horne. “Since I was a kid I’ve brought friends and guests downtown on my personal boat to share Annapolis’ creeks and waterways. We are extremely lucky to live in this amazing boating environment. Now, we can provide the opportunity for others to run their own boat and witness for themselves this special area.

Annapolis Electric Boat Rentals offers a unique and exciting way to tour Annapolis…by water! The best part is you are seeing it from your own private boat that YOU are driving. Bring your own food and beverages, CD player/radio/and iPod hookups are available. The vessels seat up to 10 passengers and are safe and comfortable for all ages. Great for birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, or just to enjoy a sunny day on the water. Reservations are highly recommended as it is first-come, first-served, but walk-ups are welcome during our regular season.
